Description | The Baltimore Sun, July 22, 1861 reports the Exeter BBC was just formed from "young men of Old Town." The Baltimore South, Sept. 20, 1861 reports on the meeting to form a Baltimore Base Ball Association. Clubs sending delegates were the Olympic, Peabody, Maryland, Druids, Empire, Ivanhoe, Chesapeake, Atlantic, Potomac, Exeter and Marion. The Exeter played the Greenmount. Same, Nov. 9, 1861. |
