Description	The Chicago Inter Ocean, July 10, 1889 reports that Frankfort defeated Mokena 35-5 at Mokena. Haass starred as Frankfort's pitcher, striking out 15. Baumann caught. Same says Frankfort defeated Spencer 27-11 on Sunday. (Spencer was platted in 1856 as a village in New Lenox Township) Gilmore, Frankfort, p. 85, 90 notes that a baseball game was scheduled for the July 4th, 1905 celebration in Frankfort. A team was noted forming in 1910, which often played Mokena. Frankfort was platted in 1873, incoporated in 1879. 332 residents in 1880.
