Description

The Woodstock Sentinel, Aug. 24, 1876 reports that the club of Dundee has challenged Woodstock to play a game on the 26th.

The Chicago Inter Ocean, Sept. 1, 1896 reports that the Summits of Summit, Ill. were defeated by Dundee, Ill. at Dundee 12-11.

Dundee Township, in northern Kane County, includes the adjoining towns of East and West Dundee, incorporated 1871 and 1867, respectively. East Dundee had 849 inhabitants in 1880, West Dundee 585.
