Description | The Louisville Daily Courier, June 30, 1858, describes the Star BBC grounds as being on the commons, adjacent to Kentucky and 5th Streets. Same June 4, 1859 describes the "ball common" as "at the southern end of Fourth Street." Same, Aug. 12, 1858, describes the common as at the corner of 4th and Kentucky. Near/at modern Memorial Park. Used by several teams, including the Star, Louisville and Eclipse. |
