Description | The Easton Gazette, July 17, 1869 prints a letter from the captain of the Easton Base Ball Club complaining about newspaper reports of a challenge sent by his club to the Scorers and Mutuals Clubs of Cambridge. Evidently the Easton 2nd nine played a picked nine of the two Cambridge Clubs. |
