Description | The Rockford Weekly Register-Gazette, Dec. 2, 1865, reports that the Forest City, Mercantile and Sinnissippi clubs of Rockford intend to send delegates to the North West Base Ball Convention, and give the names of the delegates. The Mercantile Club of Rockford IL is listed in Peverelly [1866]. It may well have formed earlier. Rockford IL is about 80 miles NW of Chicago. |
