Score 37 - 30

"A match game of base ball was play on the Lightfoot Base Ball Grounds in this city on the 13th inst., between the Nashville Base Ball Club of Nashville and the Lightfoots of this place--in which the Lightfoots were the winners by a score of 37 to 30--the Nashville club were three men short, which deficiency was filled by supernumerary members of our club. The playing was very good and quite a crowd of ladies and gentlemen were present who seemed to enjoy the sport as much as the players."
