Description | "The Independents were hospitably entertained by the members of the Paducah Club. In the evening, by invitation of Paducah Club, the Independents accompanied them to the Theater. The play was the French Spy in which the young and beautiful actress, Bella Golden, appeared as Henri S. Alme Bamet and Mathilde De Meric. The play was the last of the season and was presented in a highly creditable manner." Paducah KY is in the SW corner of the state and on the Mississippi River. It is about 150 miles SE of St. Louis MO. |
