|Description=<p>The Cumberland Club of Nashville played the Louisville Club on the latter's home grounds. Although the guests' train was delayed for long enough to delay the game, the dinner that was planned went off as scheduled on the night of Wednesday, August 15. Because of the large crowd that had already gathered on the grounds for the original match, an exhibition was played instead by members of local teams and members of other Nashville teams that had traveled to Nashville for the occasion.</p> | |||
