Description

The Austin American Statesman, Nov. 4, 1871 reports that at a game played near the Texas Military Institute, the Olympic team defeated the TMI club 65-22.

The Olympics were later reported as being a team from Sneed's school. The TMI club was later nicknamed the Cadets. TMI later merged into what became Texas A&M.
