Description | The New York Clipper, March 25, 1871 reports that on March 6th, the Sheridans of Fort Wallace beat a local picked nine 42-26 at Fort Wallace. Fort Wallace was an army post in what is now Wallace County, KS. It was abandoned in 1882. |
