Description | The Girard Press, Feb. 24, 1870, reports that the Boys in Blue Club of Troop A, 7th US Cavalry, beat the Joys of Girard 67-41 at Girard on the 22nd. The same newspaper, Dec. 9, 1869 and Jan. 27, 1870, had urged the formation of a base ball club in that town. |
