Text | 1863 DIARY OF WILLIAM HENRY COLE, 126TH NEW YORK INFANTRY Friday, March 27, 1863—This morning the 126th [New York] went on picket and the line was extended further about a mile. We had a good game of baseball in the afternoon Saturday, April 4, 1863—Today has been wash day. No drilling. In the afternoon had a game of ball. |
