Location Chicago, IL, United States
Description

Games of "baseball on ice" were played at the Washington Skating Park. See Chicago Evening Post, Jan. 27, 1866 reporting a game the day before on ice where the Excelsiors beat the Atlantics 30-25. The WSP was on West Randolph St., southeast corner of Sheldon (now Loomis). Very close to the West Side Cricket Grounds/Union Park.
