The Indianapolis Journal, May 12, 1865 says this club's grounds in 1865 was on Blackford St., north of Vermont. The Indiana Sentinel July 13, 1865 describes the WBBC grounds as on Vermont St. west of Blackford.

the location is approximately where the IUPUI Science Bldg. now stands.
