Description

Sharpshooter's Park was a popular picnic grounds, often used for baseball 1870-75 by Chicago clubs and societies. It was located just east of the corner of 119th St. and Halsted, in what was in 1870 Calumet Township, but is today part of the West Pullman neighborhood of Chicago.

This Sharpshooter's Park is NOT connected to the later, north side  Sharpshooter's Park which became the Riverview amusement park.
