Description	The "Normal School" (now, the College of New Jersey in Ewing) was (according to the 1867 city directory) located where Grant school is now, on North Clinton Ave, between Monmouth and Lincoln. The 1867 directory map shows a "park" just east of the school, across the creek and west of the railroad tracks. The modern Southard Park is just south of the school.
