Description | Morris, "Base Ball Pioneers" describes the Union grounds (home of the Cincinnati Red Stockings in 1868-70) as the west side of Lincoln Park. The Red Stockings originally leased the grounds from the Union cricket club. Lincoln Park was bounded by Kenner, Freeman, Hopkins and Hoefer Streets. The Union Terminal now stands on the site. |
