The Harrisburg Patriot, Oct. 18, 1866 has a long article on the state baseball convention. Among the teams sending delegates was the Williamsport BBC of Williamsport.

Williamsport PA (1860 pop. about 5,500; 1870 pop. about 16,000) is about 80 miles W of Scranton in northern PA.
