Description	Morris, "Base Ball Pioneers" p. 68 says that later in 1856, after the Excelsiors of Albany defeated the Empire BBC, a new club, the "Rivals," formed to take on the Excelsior and, if victorious, claim the name Excelsior. The Rivals lost, and seemingly disbanded that year.
