McConville, captain 1st nine, Eugene Rowley, captain 2nd nine. Same Jan. 13, 1877 "On Saturday the Base Ball Club of this place had several brisk games upon their grounds," which implies a club existed here prior to 1877. Same April 21, 1877 has the Amateurs playing the Grangers at Fort Lapwai. Same Jan. 13,1878 has the Amateurs playing the "Boys in Blue." |
