Description

The Louisville Courier-Journal, Oct. 16, 1858:

"The Olympic Ball Club will play their weekly game of Wicket on Saturday, October 16th, at three o-clock, on the commons beyond Kentucky and Fifth Streets."

This is the same grounds that early baseball games were played on.
