Description | The Nashville Union and Dispatch, April 18, 1868, says that on April 17th the Lone Star of Edgefield (today's East Nashville) beat the Arlington of South Nashville 61 to 28. By 1873 the "Edgefield Base Ball Club" was proclaimed the "champion club of the county." Nashville Union and American, July 31, 1873. |
