Same, May 4, 1858 reports an 'epidemic" of baseball playing in Cleveland. Same, March 6, 1860 reports that baseball is being played daily at the "Spring Pond Park." Spring Pond Park was a horse race track about half a mile north of the Spring Pond Hotel, located at the modern northwest corner of Euclid and East 89th Streets. |
