Description

The Chicago Tribune, Aug. 21, 1870 reports that two "railroad" teams (made up of railroad employees) played in Riverside, with the Wonderfuls playing the Fearfuls. Gives a box score.

Riverside was planned in 1869 as one of the first planned suburbs,  and incorporated in 1875.
