<p>Same May 17, 1862 gives the roster of the club. P. C. Wheeler is captain 1st nine; A. Goodrich captain 2nd nine. These were the 2 nines that played the 39-39 game that day, said by the paper to&nbsp; be "probably the first game of this new sport ever played in Peoria."</p>
