Description	The Whiting Times, June 28, 1894, mentions that the Whiting BBC played an intersquad game. Same, July 5, 1894, says the Whiting Grays defeated the Stars and Crescents (of Chicago?) 15-0 on July 4. Same Aug. 2, 1894 says the rematch was held at the new ballpark last Sunday, constructed by the Whiting Athletic Association. Same, June 21, 1894 says the Works club defeated the Silk Stockings 28-27, both being company clubs. The Chicago Inter Ocean, Aug. 24, 1896, mentions the "Whiting Grays of Whiting, Indiana..." Same Jun 7, 1895 mentions the Whiting Grays. Same July 5, 1896 says the Whiting Grays defeated the Muskegons at Muskegon, Michigan 11-7 on July 4th. A Roster of the team is in the same, Sept. 5, 1896. Whiting was founded in 1889.
