Description | The Wilmington Journal, Dec. 20, 1867 reports that the Scuppernong of Kenanville played the Clarendon Base Ball Club of Wilmington on Dec. 13. The game was called after two innings due to weather, The New York Herald, June 26, 1868 reports a game at Wilmington on Tuesday last between the Scuppernongs and the Harnetts. The Wilmington Journal, June 26, 1868 reports that the Harnett nine defeated the Scuppernong 28-14, and gives a box score. |
