Description | The Latin BaseBall Archaelogy article, dated Dec. 23, 2008, at origenesdelbeisbol.com, asserts that although while Nemesio Guillo claimed, many years later, that the Habana BBC was founded in 1868, the first recorded mention of this club is in 1874, when (according to a newspaper account) they played the Matanzas Base Ball Club at the Palmar de Junco grounds in Matanzas. |
