Description	The Cedar Rapids Times, Sept. 8, 1870 reports: "The Forest City and the Marshalltown base ball clubs will play a match game at Marshalltown on the 17th." The Waterloo Courier, June 22, July 11, 1867 reports that the Empire of Waterloo recently played Marshalltown and Marshalltown won.
