Description | The Arizona Champion, of Flagstaff, May 10, 1884, reports that there are "two full fledged base ball clubs in Flagstaff," the east end and the west end base ball clubs. Same May 17, 1884, calls these the old town and new town clubs, who played a game, won by old town. Flagstaff was funded in the early 1880s. It had 964 residents in 1890. |
