Description	Des Moines "Daily Iowa State Register," June 3, 1866: "Base Ball Club--The members of the base ball club will meet at the office of Kendall & McHenry, Exchange Block, to-morrow evening at 8 o'clock." The Weekly Register, Aug. 1, 1866 says the newly formed club has C. O. Worthington as President, George A. Drake ans Treasurer. They played a practice on grounds in the western part of the city on July 31st. Same Nov. 12, 1867 mentions the "Capital City" BBC of Des Moines. Same June 13, 1868 mentions the Crescent BBC of Des Moines.
