Description

The Maple Valley Club of Ovid is the first club mentioned in Clinnton County in Peter Morris' Baseball Fever (2003). Ovid MI (current pop. about 1,500) is about 80 miles NW of Detroit and about 25 miles N of Lansing.

Other early Clinton County Clubs were the Star Club of St. Johns and the Monitor Club of St. Johns.
