Biography
Charles C. Seigfried was born in Pennsylvania about 1837, and served as a sergeant in the 2nd Kentucky Infantry, Company D. He was appointed a member of the credentials committee at the Tennessee Base Ball Convention in May, 1867. He was also appointed Corresponding Secretary of the same convention in September of 1867 in Memphis. He died of consumption in Chattanooga, TN, on February 26, 1873.
