Description | The Juneau "Daily Alaska Dispatch" June 12, 1901 says Juneau beat Douglas last Saturday 11 to 4. Same June 24, 1901 has Juneau beating Douglas 22 to 11. Douglas Island team? Or Douglas city? Probably the latter. Douglas city is near Juneau, and now is a part of Juneau. Douglas had 1722 residents in 1910. Douglas city played in the 1903 state tournament.
