Description

The Florida Star [Titusville] Oct. 4, 1883 reports on how the Magnolia BBC of La Grange traveled to New Smyrna to play the Stars of Enterprise, billed as a match between Volusia and Brevard Counties. The Magnolias won 4-3.

This game so inspired the locals that they immediately formed the Cracker Boys BBC of New Smyrna. Same, Oct. 11, 1883.
