The book's section on ball games includes a translation of the 1828 rounders rules from <u>The Boy's Own Book</u> (see 1828 entry, above), under the heading <i>Engelsch balspel</i> (English ball). A second game is <i>De wip</i> (the whip), a kind of trap ball. Also <i>De kat</i>, which Block identifies as English tip-cat.</p>
