Description	The Stark County News, Aug. 26, 1870 reports that the LaFayette BBC defeated the Mollie Stark of Toulon last Saturday 27-20. Same Oct. 22, 1869 reports that the Mollie Stark had played Kewanee in La Fayette on the 20th. The Kewanee Advertiser, Sept. 6, 1870, reports that on Sept. 3 the Blue Stockings of Kewanee defeated La Fayette at La Fayette 27-23, and gives a box score. Lafayette, in Stark County, had 284 inhabitants in 1870.
