Description

The Chicago Tribune, July 27, 1867, in an article on the Illinois state baseball convention, lists the clubs represented. Among the clubs was the "Chicago Club, of Chicago" with delegates Charles Catlin and D. W. Fuller.

Same Aug. 23, 1867 says their grounds were at Wright's Grove, at Clark and Diversey Sts. on the north side.

According to the New York Clipper article on the Northwestern Association convention, Jan. 5, 1867, this club was organized Sept. 15, 1866 and had 23 members. Delegates--W. P. Shannon and D. W. Fuller.
