Shury and Hack, p. 2 quotes the Regina Leader of 7-5-1887: "A baseball game was played between Regina and Moose Jaw with Regina winning 16-12." Pitching for Regina was future provincial premier Thomas Walter Scott (1867-1938), whose bio and photo are online.
