Description | The Lemont Press, Aug. 4, 1888 reports that the Stone City of Lemont beat the Lace nine 19-15 at Lace last Sunday. The newspapers complained that Lace had players from Hinsdale and Downers Grove. A Box score is given. The Lace nine comprised J. Drew, F. Lamb, Rohmer, Glavy, A. Drew, Brosman, J. Bolander, D. Lamb and H. Bolander.
Lace (inc. 1890) changed its name to Darien in 1893. |
