Text | The Olympic club is fitting up its ground at Eighteenth and York streets, adjoining the old Lamb Tavern, so as to make a first-class ball field. Chairman of the Finance Committee of Councils, Mr. Henry Clay, is one of the oldest members. The club uses the ground on Tuesdays and Fridays, and a number of first-class clubs are negotiating for the other days of the week. |
