Description

"The Bethany colored Apes and the Bunker Hill colored Flys played two games of Base ball at Elkton last Saturday, resulting in 27 to 6 and 20 to 14, respectively, in favor of the Apes....

The Apes boast that they have never been beaten except by the Pulaski colored Rifles. The colored Apes then went by the name of the colored Bengal Tigers we believe."
