Data | “Baseball” was part of the fun for members of the Wesley Institute of Maidenhead, Berkshire, who spent the holiday romping in Maidenhead Thicket, the wooded area west of town. A newspaper reported that “they spent the afternoon until 4 o'clock on such games as baseball and cricket, and at that hour sat down to a much-appreciated tea.” |
