Description | The Salt Lake Herald, Oct. 2, 1870: "Base Ball--The third and closing match for the championship of the Territory was played at Ogden yesterday, resulting in a victory for the Corinnes over the Enneas..." The New York Clipper, Oct. 15, 1870, reports on this game, and says the Corinnes won 12-8. See Junction Club of Ogden for a game earlier that year. The Deseret News, May 24, 1871, reprints an item from the Ogden Junction about two boys injuring themselves while playing baseball in that city. |
