Text | Mr. Whitaker says that he thinks Brooklyn is a 25-cent town. With two clubs—League and Brotherhood—charging 50 cents each, he feels confident that the new organization will get the patronage. All the other clubs will give the new nine one or more players so as to place it on a level with the other teams in the organization. There have already been several applications for stock in the new club. |
