Text | On Wednesday, no avenue of escape having meantime opened itself, and the wherewithal to pay the salaries—aggregating $3200 per month—not being forthcoming, Mr. Davidson pursued the only other course open to him—that is, place the club in the hands of the Association. He wrote a letter to President Wikoff explaining the situation, and directed him to sell the club for him. Mr. Davidson will, of course, get what it brings, and will settle with the other shareholders upon that basis should the club franchise be sold. |
