Text | The reduction in the price of admission to thirty-five and fifty cents has proven beyond a doubt that St. Louis is still a good ball town at popular prices. The Athletics opened here and fully 6,000 people attended the game. The crowd was even a little larger on Saturday, and the attendance on Sunday was about 8,000, the grand stand being filled and the bleaching boards were pretty well loaded down, too. |
