Text | Manager Spence waxes wroth at Keefe's batsman-hitting propensity, and he wants some nervy twirler to say to Keefe:--”Whenever you hit a man in the game I intend hitting you.” This, Mr. Spence thinks, would compel abandonment of Keefe's intimidating tactics and result in the loss of more games by New York. |
