Text | It has now come to that point where something must be done [with regard to the Brooklyns]. Why not try the same plan that the New York team did last season? Each man that did not play was considered one of a committee to criticise the work of the team on the field, not in order to find fault, but merely in a friendly way. The shortcomings of the men could then be talked over before the next game, and an effort could then be made to improve the play. This could be tried, and in case it was not a success it could do no harm. |
